Dear Colleague

World Class Mails and Work Study in RDC’s

Please find attached to this LTB a copy of a Postal Executive Document accompanied by a letter to the Logistics Process Director with a proposed Terms of Reference to deal with issues of this nature.

Prior advice regarding this issue had been previously sent to Divisional Representatives and RDC Representatives on the 31st May 2011. To ensure that everyone is fully aware of these discussions which have yet to be concluded the appropriate information should be supplied to all our Representatives and our Members made fully aware of the situation.

This goes back to my question to dingo about how we on the shop floor should be dealing with wcm... Dingos reply was that the cwu hadnt a plan to deal with it!!! it would seem we still dont after wcm being in rm for nearly 3 years :d'oh!

Nope.......

We had a WCM "rep" in our WTLL on Monday night - answered NO questions at all and kept telling us how WONDERFUL WCM is - even though we have no "reps" on the Night Shift yet.....
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

Well, in our office there's only a couple of ways to make it onto the WCM "team"....

Be a Brown Nose
Best Mates with somebody ELSE on the "team"
Be the laziest sod in the building.
Have Blue Eyes and Breasts.


Probably the same in other offices

We get a complaint EVERY morning from the "team" that our area has NOT been cleaned and set-up for them..... However, when WE start our shift - we have to clean all the crap up from the previous shift AND set up the Machines with trays and Yorks so we can actually start doing something (which can take up to an hour!)

Do they listen........ of course not... :arrrghhh

In ours, ANYONE can get onto a WCM team. But that's only because they don't have enough people doing it, so they're desperate! :chuckle

The WCM is coming to all, there is no way to avoid it, at least not fully.

However, common sense guys, attack it from within and beat them with their own tools. I heard a very good line from a film clip which exactly sums up what I mean; "It is necessary to get behind someone before you can stab them in the back".
