Now when you trip, slip OR injure yourself and it is found by management it was on your shoulder...Good luck in your defence.
Our defence will be that we've never been told or asked to use a trolley, or been given a trolley, or had any trolley training.

If we were told to use them then I would.

Our office had trolley training and was told we were not to carry on shoulder anymore or we would be disciplined, fair enough. Third week into p&l and certain people don't even take trolleys out. Things could change after today when a acting manager was caught with an overweight bag on shoulder, just shows you how intelligent these people are? Nearly30 years as a postie with all the benefits of job and knock I've easily adapted. The job is still easy or I wouldn't stay. Start at proper time and a couple of days a week we complete and finish at two o'clock. Rest of week we don't complete and we still finish at two o'clock. Simples int it. Get used to it it's the future.
