... I dream of a 35hr week - in fact I'd settle for 30hrs ... but hey ho another 3 month extension at 24 hrs ("all terms and conditions remain unchanged") ... :cry

Decided I didnt wanna pay it anymore and asked for a refund and got it .... ALL of it :nana
How long were you paying in? I would assume it was within a certain amount of time or they would not allow you to cancel?

He wouldn't of been able to cash in if he's paid in for more than two years.

New car Calpsy? Or new suspension on the old one?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Won't it also depend on whether his office has gone thru the revision or not yet. 40 hours being full time for those office which haven't and 39 for those offices which have, so therefore it would be weekly wage divided by either 39 or 40 depending on what fulltime is in the office...

I don't think so. In fact I doubt that MCs are taking anyone on.

What you got back is all of your contributions minus tax and you gave RM it's contributions back aswell.
I can only assume you have a rich partner because you're going to struggle in your old age if not!

If a new starter starts in a DO on 35hrs a week, then surely that means that there is no one on less than 35 hrs, OR all those that are on less, want to stay on less?

Wouldn't it make more sense to make up a 25 our contract to 35, and start the new starter on 25?
