Re: More Royal Mail managers facing the axe in snap cull
Good riddance to bad rubbish, that's what I say.
DOMs, and especially those that have been promoted from the shopfloor over the last 10 years, have more than played their part in the decline of this once great service.
Those that have families, and are about to be tossed on to the great British scrapheap, I haven't an ounce of sympathy for.
We've had turds at our place, that would have sacked a dozen or more family men, and would not have given them a backward glance.
They reap, what they have sowed, and I couldn't be more pleased for them.

My biggest fears are that the good ones are going cause they dont want to go down with the ship
and the utter shite are staying because they are too stoopid to go.

Yep, Broxi, they'll keep the bullying c***s because they want that kind of hard faced twat running an office, so they can bully the weak into running round, working free overtime, etc etc.

They are going to start to move them around in the smoke soon.
Word on the street is those that have been acting for years, when they get sent back to their offices(leg between tail smilie please teebs) some are going to demand resigns as they don't want to be reserves.
Can you imagine it,Bob gets staged on a Fri by Jim,Jim and Bob are van sharing on Mon.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Can't see why they'd get a resign...............they didn't give us one when our office changed so why should they. Let them be reservesPOSTMAN wrote:They are going to start to move them around in the smoke soon.

If half of our LM's had to do a walk they would be dead by the end of the week.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

But why the 'snap cull'? What have the snaps done to deserve this?

I agree with Broxie. It'll be the minority of good Managers, that are the most likley to go. We'll just be left with the ones who'll tow the RM line, of B&H Posties into cutting corners, and taking unneccessary risks, to do what would otherwise be impossible.
