The items we deliver are getting bigger, but some of the letterboxes people have on their doors are so small you have no option but to fold letters to get them
through the letterbox, then they have them poxy brushes or draft excluder or whatever they are, it seems like they are all things to slow you down.
The worst have got to be low letter boxes.

Has a Parcelfarce delivery which was clearly marked "GLASS" with a boot print on the box where some tw*t had stood on it, not saying it was the driver, but for f*cks sake where is the customer service in that!

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If anything untoward happens - (dog, cat, barbed wire etc) it will be your fault.
They tried to charge one of my colleagues with wilful delay after he had to go to hospital after a dog nipped his fingers because he had stuck them through the letterbox.
Have one of those plastic things with you to push the mail through.
Never let the hand you hold, hold you down.

It is 2011 and the same sh*t is still written! FOLLOW ROYAL MAIL PRCEDURES! If it does not fit write a DOCKET dont leave it and dont break it FFS, would you smash a glass vase to fit through a letter box? No you wouldnt so bloody write it up and bring it back. If you are given a hard time ask them to give it to you on paper what they want you to do and the only thing they can write is leave a docket and bring the item back! Some people need to grow a pair.POSTMAN wrote:Course you got time.demon wrote:dont get time now to wright a card out sorry royal mail want it that way

your not allowed to write "grow a pair" on here as some people have delicate sensabilities and get upset.
the real problem is that a large majority of posties cannot or will not take the time to learn what they need to know to do the job PROPERLY.
who the hell invests £2 billion into a servic and makes it worse?????????????
you really couldn't make it up!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Bend it like RM...
I to have delicate sensabilities and get upset with people that dont do the job properly cause extra needless work for our already hard pressed Reps and cause misery for the next person to do the walk because management use the carve up merchants speed to bully the next decent postie to go on the walk and that wishes to do the job properly. Little things like this can and should be sorted out by the posties on the shop floor as and when they come up.youwot!!!!! wrote:randompostman wrote:It is 2011 and the same sh*t is still written!
