Royal Mail hate their own staff

Seriously folks the way we get treated and some of the things they do. I'm convinced they hate their own staff. They keep saying things like they want to improve worker relationships but unless you are a blue eye wcm ass lick they don't give a s**t about you.

It's a constant battle with the WAM's trying to look good to shift managers and us at the bottom of the heap not giving a s**t and just taking a pay packet home, they don't give a s**t about family or home life, if you have kids to look after, or elderly relatives, they don't care about rules and regs unless its used to shaft a postie then they are all important.

As long as the mail goes out the door at sometime near the dispatch time, no questions are asked.

I don't think they hate use, we are just cog's in a massive machine and thats how we are treated.

i think sheff postie is right,they don't hate us but they do feel nothing but contempt for us because they think we need them more than they need us.WRONG!!!!!remember that if we do our jobs properly MOST jobs do not work,meaning just do your job in the right way and they will soon realise who has the real power in this god-forsaken company.

Indeed Andy...the agenda is to turn us all into early starting,break skipping "i'm allright Jack" non union members so terrified of losing our job that we give up fighting to protect it.
That has been Royal Mail's real policy for years now..it's a shame so many have been stupid enough to fall for it.
