Different people, every day, one minute tested,on the ips, and theyve put up a league table, with mr a at the top, sorting x amount, right down to mr z, whos sorted this amount.
Can they do this?
Sounds fecking hilarious, will we be employing more indoor staff to make up the league tables?

What happens if you finish bottom of the league,do you get relegated to oblivion?

I would have thought this was discriminatory, because providing you make the agreed minimum it is totally irrelevant how fast or slow you are.

some of you dont have a clue about whats goin on here, we had 5 grievances put in yesterday against 3 diff doms, one guy was sacked yesterday and another lad walked out, but came back after being advised to by area rep, its a constant battle every single day at dundee east, from 07 12 til you go out onn dely, they prep test folk daily, minute test daily, count the mail in your frame, then 4 guys, (2 pairs of 2 each) are in for formal interviws on monday becuse one day they reached an acceptable standard, and a fortnight later, didnt!!!
Its so demoralising, the lad yesterday walked out after telling the dom he was only gonna get to point x on his dely, the dom said its not acceptable, you can take to ther, the debate ensued, he said im not here to take this s**t, jacket on and off.......but came back , hes off today, day off, and in tomorra, the pressure is un believable here, conduct code is used against everything, we are having performane rammed ast us every single morning at the stupid huddle.....today, they even tried to tell us they are changing our break times from monday due to the missort run, we start at 07 12, and break is 9 am to 09 20, they want us to go at 0840, less than an hour and a half into the working day, so we asked what about the 4 and a half hour max dely span, we would need to return to the office at 13 30 for another break, they said take it on the street, and so it goes on,,,,feckin mindblowing, most guys are now van each instead of van share, back to using bag boxes wi keys, and no trolleys, some guys dont even take pda1s out, no large packets, trackeds or specials, and others have to do the lot, fook me,its all done on the hoof, crazy scarey stuff.......

Blimey your office sounds a right nightmare - you need a good union rep to tell yer manager (tosser) he cannot do tests so soon after each other and breaks are taken at the correct time, as for bags on shoulders :no no

No I would refuse wherever I came. Its degrading, divisive, promotes B&H, does nothing of a training value, is against Union ethos and is nothing beyond being a possible power trip for weak managers who feel safer behind a clip board rather than using acceptable managerial practices to motivate and train staff. :mad :mad :mad :mad (nto at you clash - at the idea behind such claptrap).

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

 Sorry clash, not only those that are the 'lower' end of chart complain about this --the whole idea is reprehensible.
