Why would delivery posties know about other postcodes? All I know is BT is Northern Ireland because that's all I need to know.

Couldn't agree more, never rely on something you haven't already got (there are times when I think the wages aren't going in).

Just a few points:

From the BT2010 agreement - Page 71 - Annex C

Lump Sums
The payment of £1,000 (pro rata for part time employees) consisting of 3 lump sums will be paid as follows.
£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of their first non walk sequencing revision.
£600 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of the walk sequencing revision.
£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit when the Walk Sequencing revision has been implemented, and objectives achieved in line with the local agreement and no later than the end of the 6 week bedding in period.

So

@Flyingsam - you should be expecting £600 and £200 a maximum of 6 weeks later not just £600 and as long as you have had a walk sequencing revision you get it, no ifs no buts. Dont confuse getting walk sequenced mail with having a revision though they are different.

@blade8t1 - there is no £400 lump sum in the agreement so not sure what your refering to - unless its the £600 one for 30hr contracts which would be £400 if they did no overtime during the qualifying period.

@lovemoney - its not £800 in one go - its £600 then 6 weeks later (maximum) another £200 - so dont spend it in one go.

@Hitcher P&L revision counts as a Non walk Sequencing revision (if not bundled together with walk sequencing being introduced) and would attract a £200 payment.

@taffie - the 39 hour SWW is written into the agreement so they can't refuse it - PT timers get a pay rise to offset it so unless they want posties in different areas getting paid different amounts for doing the same job they HAVE to give you it.

true blue, you are the man.I like your style.Like you have said in many of your post,the only way to get any where with RM is to do the job as set out.We are all our own worse enemy for carving up the job,and going home early.The managers are making a list day after day week after week about the hours they can save the office when people job and knock,then they report it on their conference calls to the sector manager,so they know what they can save.Thanks to all the clowns that job and knock.

We have still not received the £200 for our first revision after 8 months. Apparently they did end up making as much savings as they wanted. Thought revisions were not supposed to be savings driven according to the agreement

The carrot was dangled in our office promise of o/t until walk seq was 100% told october after 3 days of new duties walk seq 100% thats the o/t on the head within 2 weeks i bet (but i don't care i don't do it) and the £600 after 3 weeks (we will see ) so it was voted in 20 - 18 only 38 voted out of 100 +

I will my socks off we don't get it.
