She gets £142,000 by way of a bonus, and at the coal face, where the real work gets done, by people paid a pittance, that's where the savings are to be made, is it?
Great, but what about the work, real work, that will still need doing? If we are going to be severely understaffed, how the Hell does everything get delivered?
This corporate insanity, this absurd belief that no matter how much work needs doing, it can be done by as few as possible, is the favourite self-deluded nonsense beloved by all misers and skinflints.
£142,000 by way of a bloody bonus, bonus for what ffs?

We, the common man/woman, are at the mercy of criminals, I know, I know, these robbers break no law that sits on the statute book written by their ilk, but criminals is what they are, and I only hope and pray that I live long enough to see them, and those who serve them, dealt with appropriately by the very people they have treated so appallingly. :cuppa

Apart from the prick that passes for a manager at our place, a bigger waste of good money, I cannot fathom.

Maybe we should suggest that Moya should come to each Delivery Office and fling her s**t at the few staff left who for what ever reason are trying to hold the business together and provide some form of a service to the customer, cripes i would not mind her money for making as bigger F**k up as she has,she made a complete mess of the Canadian post.

I don't really care what bonus she gets as long as it reflects the company's success - even an 'on paper' success would do.

But no, the company is definitely much worse off than 12 months ago although I do admit that most of that was put into place before she started.

We'll all be fed the line that the company is 'facing real challenging times' and we all need to 'be flexible', moderisation is the only way blah blah blah - yet the reality is this: We are worse off due to inflation (currently over 5% in real terms) and dire working conditions - in real terms OUR pay has fallen. Moya is laughing all the way to the bank with her bonus and future earnings. Even if RM was sold off and she lost her job, like Crozier - she will be ok cash wise.

George door to dawes wrote:So lets just recap on how she earnt her lovely bonus:

Profits are down
Business is down
Customer service is terrible
Company image is in tatters
Current revisions are almost completely failing
Other revisions seem to be on hold
Worker morale is at rock bottom
The releationship with CWU is at rock bottom
And there are strikes on the horizon

Is their anything else she could f*** up? :hmmmm
She HASN'T f***ed up. That's precisely what she was employed to do. Think about it: The Public is against privatising RM, because it's an important Public Service. But if we consistently fail to provide that service, loose large amounts of money, and start regularly going on Strike (a distinct possibility the way things are going). Then what do they have to loose, by supporting the sell off? :hmmmm
They'd get a lot less money for RM in that state. But at least they'd be able to sell it on, to someone to make massive profits (bringing in large amounts of taxation). Which is exactly what would happen, if the regulations were relaxed, and it was run properly. :hmmmm

No. I think she's hit all her targets, to trigger that bonus. It doesn't make it right. Far from it. But that's what's happened with her predecessors, and is continuing to happen with her.

yet again rm showing their true colours no money for c/shares but plenty for ms greene its about time we took a stand. rm have ask lots from the the workforce with little or nothing in return . the c/shares would of been a bit of a sweetner but they are long gone. our backs are against the wall, now its time to stand up and be counted. for a company to state profits are down and then shell out £142000 to ms greene is a joke something is wrong somewhere.
