Well, in fairness, despite my assertion that it was light today, I still had four pouches, and they weren't exactly mega-light, although I never 'over-pack' my bags. So probably about 45kgs worth of mail today - and this on probably the lightest day of the week in our office. Come Wednesday and Thursday it'll be twice that. Tomorrow will probably be about 50kgs.

I think when we say that the mail is easier what we really mean is the mail is at a level that we can complete in our time without going at full speed for 5 hours

My bags were very heavy for a Monday especially the lapsing but the call rate was OK...had a lot of Saga,holiday and clothing mags and soon got rid of it all so not a bad day.
