In a nutshell there is little chance of full time employment.
Or you move to an office were there is a full time position.
Try asking for a transfer to Hen's Teeth DO or Rocking Horseshit MC
Or you could try applying for a management postition plenty of them useless b####### around

I'd rather eat my own excrement than be associated with the current management structure
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Depending on your circumstances then part time could be OK if you have a partner and children - the hours could probably be to suit and you could pick overtime up - so nil desperandum.

Try applying for the Xmas casuals in case you have not been offered anything by then.
They are usually started at the beginning of December: www.royalmail.com/xmasjobs

A AG army was exactly what RM wanted , the idea is to dilute the FT unionised staff , treat the so called "glorified casuals " mean and keep them keen. In Distribution/processing it's divide and rule , why do you think the 2003 ballot failed ?- the workforce was too divided - too many FT people wanted to stitch all the docket up -greedy soulless places -exactly what RM wanted and they were spoiling for a fight in 2003 , still a lot of bad feeling left over from then with RM Senior/Area Mgt . London and the SE saved this union in 2003 .
