The name on the packet/letter and the name the postie has scrawled on the card also seems to be a challenge.

Typical Monday, very light. My DOM even gave me the leave I asked for so not a bad day all round.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

Just over 4 and a quarter hrs for delivery. Not much in the way of packets, or flats for that matter. Will probably catch up through the week.

No miss bag drop run. This is due to spending 1 hr 50 minutes on IPS. Never understood the need to spend that long on IPS.

Have been doing this round for a year on a 9-2 contract, but always get extra as there's always so much waiting to be done. It's the heaviest prep in the section to be fair.
Today, there was just the packets, redirections, kill-offs and D2d prep. Was out of the office an hour after arriving and back 20 minutes before finish time. Actually how the job should be for the first time! Even the D2Ds were light, compared to last week's backbreakers.
Needless to say, I hated it, as had nothing to complain about

Not that light. Some big mags and some utter crud to get rid of today. Packets weren't bad. Office as a whole was in a state of shambles. We've had guys go over to the machines in the past few months and they haven't been replaced. An office that was just about functioning now seems to be in complete disarray. Packets are strewn all over the place and as far as I can tell, managers are having to do parts of walks that they cannot get cover for. I suspect the issue of lapsing may well come to the fore in the not-too-distant future, we have somehow managed to resist it so far, but the same idiots keep running around and are finishing hours early. I hope our office genuinely resists when lapsing is brought in, but I expect there's no compromising with human stupidity.
