My arms and face are burned to f*ck. I didn't realise it was going to be mega-hot today.

In the room of doom today a punter came in with a surcharge card.
Turns out he was being charged for collecting his own jury citation. They hadn't paid for the Recorded Delivery.
He paid but I wouldn't have.

To say it's been hot, to say I bike to work and back again, to say I have done overtime on top of my own walk, I'm actually feeling pretty good at the moment. I'm not burned to f*ck today though, remembered the lotion. Although really, Royal Mail should be providing it.

Compared to Thursday, which I've just recovered from, today was a doddle. I think the Tracked items were breeding in my van on Thursday.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

I swear I've lost a letter somewhere today. There was a shop that was closed, I endorsed it closed with the date, and when I got back to the office, I couldn't find it anywhere. Whether I've accidentally posted it or dropped it, I'm not sure. I did put my bundle down on somebody's step for a moment when I was rooting around for a parcel, so I'm wondering if maybe I didn't pick it up again after. Am a bit worried ...

A whole morning in the caller's office with the queue out the door and half way down the car park.
And how difficult is it really for a postie to put some sort of description on the 739?
