Would have been a lovely day, except for Sky sending a mailshot to every other house. And their poxy mags are turning up tomorrow apparently, together with two days worth of mail. When are these 'light' summer days ,which justify lapsing, actually going to happen? :arrrghhh

Back after the b/h and the rest of our revision came in today. Lots of people going out late, and coming back even later. :chuckle A few long faces, think some will be fed up by the weekend. It wasn't actually as heavy as I thought it would be, but more of the sorting changed, and with the new way of working, things are never going to be the same every again.

First I had a packet for Mrs Jones.
Then I had a packet for Mrs Williams.
It was like delivering in the valleys. I thought I might be able to grab a woolly one as well.

How long have you been given to deliver the Sky mags? We're usually told two-three days. But there's a rumour going round we'll have to clear them in one (tomorrow) as apparently they are late this month?

They were dumped under my frame when I got back off the walk. I just take where I'm going each day, it doesn't take that long doing it that way. The gaffer doesn't chase us, as long as we are making progress each day.

Another heavy day. Slow on the IPS due to the rest of the revision changes. Absolutely hammered with packets. Some people had 2 packet bags. I've got a customer who gets ink cartridges almost every day. (She sells them on for profit) I had a FULL drop bag just for her today. Needless to say it went on the van.
