You weren't wrong there mate. Nightmare is the word I would use. Packets everywhere. About 5 boxes of flats, 4 boxes of sequenced letters + another of manual letters. 9 recorded deliveries. About 5 and a half hours round trip including travel.Ogg wrote:I have to agree mate but it'll be a phuqer tomorrow for sure :)heapsy wrote:Strangely quiet. Even by Tuesdays standards. Re: The "How was your day" thread.
its been good so far this week but reckon we are going to get hammered with MS tomorrow, we had loads of yorks of it being wheeled through from the MC as I was leaving today.
They've been walk testing the past couple of weeks, probably why its been not too bad at my office.

As a delivery postie I am quite used to members of the public coming up to me at my drop box asking if I am collecting.
Today some bloke just put his 3 letters in my drop box as I was refilling my pouch and walked away.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

5hrs and 21 mins exactly, including travel to and from and handing in carded item. Walk took 4 and a half hours today. Reps are coming in to test duties. This will be the third time my walk will have been tested.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Had a right touch today. Left a special delivery letter on the top of my frame, and didn't realise till 1245
Rang the lino and got the details off him. The touch was that it's a bloke who gets a signed for letter every week, and is never in. Knocked for forms sake, P739'd, and walked off to find the nearest toilet
