I found a fiver today on someones path that makes £45 i've found this year so far not counting all the pennies i pick up,this got me thinking about what i should do with stuff i find i mean finders keepers right? :D

Some stuff i remember finding,

Bankcard.....rang number and reported it to bank
House keys.....handed into local post office

Weed.....Disposed of it :cool
Jewelry...Found few shiny bits over years no gold yet tho

Dont know if this is national or not ( or we just got robbed blind by the polis :nervous )

BUT if you lose something and want it back you have to pay a TENNER ! ! :evil/mad

Went to collect a phone and was told its a tenner to give to the finder .

OK I understand it and I dont have a problem with it in general but just how legal is this ?

OBV its legal but if you were a tight bar steward and got lawyers involved etc etc they have your stuff and they arent giving you it .

A large uncooked chicken, about seven feet off the ground in a bush just outside someone's house on a lovely council estate.

There's 2 threads on this in the popular links thread...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

£70 pension money complete with pension book, took it to the address of the old lady it belonged to and a carer answered the door. I said i'd found it and she took it to give to the lady.
Get a call the next day at work from the lady thanking me and asking me to knock on her door to thank me in person. She gave me £5 wouldn't take no for an answer!

I found a mobile once and got a £10 reward :Very Happy
Just say NO ....to the new agreement.

 EH? whenever I find stuff on the street, and hand it in. police always say would you accept a reward, (Believe they advise the owner to offer 10% ofvalue of goods, but I refuse. Never heard of it being conpulsory!!! (I'm on Scotland!)
