At our office, we just sent them back as 'Refused'. I can still remember how stupid Royal Mail looked in the papers and on television. They seem to have a knack for this and the episode over the bagpipes and other RLB sell-off's shows they haven't lost it.

We never got any hampers in the WA area. Perhaps they were sent out and they never reached us. A bit like the Red Cross parcels in those POW films, the screws swiped them.

The coin is knocking about in my son's bedroom somewhere. He used to be quite the Subbuteo fan when he was a kid and used it when refereeing.k66yla wrote:Has anyone still got the Penny Black anniversary pack, the one with the coin? Was thinking of putting mine on ebay but the postage would probably cost more than I'd get for the pack.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
