HERE is the nudes. A 65-year-old man has bared all for a public display of naked people captured on canvas.
Mike Adams, from Cuxton, was turning heads at the racy art exhibition for a self-portrait which shows him perched on a glass coffee table.
Mike, a model for life classes, said: "I leapt naked onto our glass coffee table at home and put my camera on self-timer, and put it on the floor, looking up. I picked the best shot, printed it on A4 paper, then I used tracing paper to create a charcoal sketch.
"I used Photoshop to merge the two, printed it out, then posted it.
"I think the idea of the exhibition is great. It has a serious side about the future of the postal service, but ties in nicely with naughtiness."
He then added: "I wanted to do something to show the objectification of women. Women complain of being objects, then become artist's models becoming the object, which is a paradox. I wanted to use a woman in the piece, but ended up using me."
Mike's art was among hundreds of pieces on show at Whitstable's Horsebridge Centre.
More than 500 took up curator Sarah Banville's appeal to "send me your nudes" for her Post Nude exhibition at the centre's new Gallery 3.
The converted storeroom is now awash with naked bodies all drawn or painted onto postcards and sent in via Royal Mail, to highlight the impending closure of sorting depots in Whitstable and Herne Bay.

Soz brother fishtank but it cannot be the enlightened one as he is still confined to the dark recesses of the naughty room
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."
