One news item says they went back in,so you're in the clear Tv.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

not long before the last union sanctioned IA in 2009 i overheard a guy speaking to the line manager saying that he wasnt prepared to cross the picket line... but couldnt afford not to get paid... with the lino telling him that (for various reasons that i wont post here) he could or would allocate the guy the day/s of IA as holidays so as to avoid the guy having problems with/from the other guys...

wouldnt be surprised (if it comes to full on IA again this time) if certain line managers and/or DOMs did the same thing for some folk...

not solidarity... but it didnt exactly surprise me to hear this.

It happens and RM use it to try and portray that the support for IA is poor.

They add all the sick absences, annual leave, day offs, strike breakers, and probably reps on release/courses as well then report them as attending work.
