Hello there. I've been a postman about 20 years in a number of different offices up and down the country. A bloke at work told me about this site (hello T if you're reading) and it sounds pretty good. Looking forward to hearing what everyone's got to say.

By the way, I don't really love my job. In fact I f***ing hate it since we went to single deliveries.

Welcome mate! I can't say I've ever loved any job. I didn't like school either. One thing I will say, it certainly is far worse now than it was 20 years ago.

Hello and welcome Ilovemyjob. I like the job even with all the s**t we are getting its the best job I've had - but then I've only had 4 main jobs so not much to choose from.

I'd like to go back to the days when doing a good job was more important than saving money and making massive profits - when it was a service rather than a business and you could at least take a bit of pride in what you were doing. Two deliveries were (I thought) just a better service in terms of local mail posted that day.
