POL want staff to be "PROUD"
Who thought of this one? let me guess erm.....Paula Vennels you remember her who said we didn't deserve a payrise "you are overpaid", i tell you what paula can't you go back to Canadian post and leave us alone because you will be the final nail in the coffin for Post Office Branches. When people ask me where i work? I reply "i work for the royal mail group" I feel more ashamed now working for pol than ever before i used to be proud about 10 years ago but no more with all this selling rubbish. I am very PROUD when my duty finishes and i am going home usually with a banging headache with all the selling that has gone on. As someone points out (blue8) what a waste of money yet again another excuse for the managers to go on a nice little outing.

How can you be proud of a company that treats it's staff and customers the way POL does.
They haven't got a bloody clue.
Will the last person to leave turn off the lights goodbye!!

No, I don’t think she is. I suspect Kathleen1 is confusing her with Moya Greene. Her post is still highly entertaining though.cdpete2004 wrote:Is Venemous Vennells Canadian too ?

Re: POL want staff to be "PROUD"
I'm glad to hear she's not Canadian too. Until Soylent Green came along, I had a neutrasl attitude toward Canadians, Thought they were ok, for foreigners
. Thought I'd have to change my opinion, if 2 of them had drifted into RM, began to see a Canuck conspiracy developing.
Talking of foreigners destroying what's left of RM, I saw the other weekend, a photo of Crozier posing like a cool media type in designer stubble - What a w****r ! It's good to see he's taken his RM thinking into ITV though. Give the customer what they've already got, nothing new, nothing innovative, but make it HD and start charging for it, and for the future, give subscribers Coronation Street an hour earlier than the rest of us freeloaders. Brilliant ! What a w****r ! Er, did I say that already ?

Re: POL want staff to be "PROUD"
For those of you below the age of one hundred and fifty eleven, (or who have a life), twas a film about a future mankind that couldn't feed itself until the foodstuff 'Soylent Green' was developed. Unfortunately, Soylent Green was a foodstuff made for the people, of the people. Put in a nutshell. That's the plot, in a nutshell, I mean. Soylent Green wasn't people processed into a foodstuff, then put in a nutshell, that would be stupid, wouldn't it ?
Soylent Green seems quite apt a pseudonym though, given the position she's slithered herself into and the seemingly inevitable fate of RM / POL.
