If you think what it was like after Xmas into the New Year then ours was much the same last night. 120 yorks of DSA and 68 RSCs of Tracked plus hundreds of yorks of inward packets.

At my place on Tuesday we failed to clear on Lates, then Nights and then Wednesday morning we took 1.2million items of DSA so it will be interesting to see what today/tomorrow bring.

Swindon on Tuesday cleared lates, failed nights. Weds earlies failed (diversion in from another MC tipped the balance there) so lates mopped up the 2C and the nights failure with time to spare. Should be an easy night tonight...Swinder wrote:At my place on Tuesday we failed to clear on Lates, then Nights and then Wednesday morning we took 1.2million items of DSA so it will be interesting to see what today/tomorrow bring.

AFAIK HDL have got the 24hr and 48hr contract, maybe that is for stuff going to "Prime" members. With the amount of stuff they send out sometimes it must be down to who has (whichever company) got a van available firstDGP1 wrote:I thought Herpes were doing Amazon nowSpacePhoenix wrote:Tracked has picked up here, it'll probably get a lot busier now Amazon are using Tracked Next Day (hope we get new batteries for the pdapostman1979 wrote:If you think what it was like after Xmas into the New Year then ours was much the same last night. 120 yorks of DSA and 68 RSCs of Tracked plus hundreds of yorks of inward packets.as the current batteries are now a load of s**t, they don't charge properly anymore)

Re: Is it busy in the Mail Centres?
We are struggling as we have hardly any trays or working yorks in our MC...
Yet our MCM and Shift Manager are there SCREAMING at us if the machine is NOT running...

And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.
