Nightshift ..when you off for Royal Wedding

Can people let me know what MCs and DOs staff on nightshift are getting off on the day of the Royal Wedding.! Is it the thursday/friday shift or the friday/saturday shift ?

I heard that nightshifts don't get any time off because the wedding isn't at night. :Very Happy
Swings and roundabouts, or something like that. :crazy:

You get thursday night off and return in midnight friday

That'll be the option at our MC...

Mornings - OFF
Afternoons - OFF
Nights - ATTEND BOTH NIGHTS
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

Note passed around work tonight...

We are working a FULL shift on the Thursday night, and then are not back in again until TUESDAY night....!!!
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

We have been told that we are to work Thursday night 2200 to Friday morning 0600 at that we can claim the bank holiday rate from midnight to 0600 and get Friday night off but they will take a days leave off you for not working midnight to 0600 on Saturday. Any comments. As usual the shift manager and union rep are on leave. What a suprise!!

our mcm would like us to attend thursday on flat rate and have friday night off :Very Happy ... one reason being so he can save abit of money, another that they do this at the swansea office :crazy: , we were told this is whats happening last night but i know theres a meeting today with a regional union rep so cannot wait to get in later to see the result of the meeting, i would presume we get the bank holiday rate from midnight till 6am friday morning then off friday, if the unoin has given the green light for his brainwave i will be stopping my subs :arrrghhh
