Re: Scottish Election material
No No No
You must remember that Green Titoism blossomed after the demise of the Green Maoist Movement.
The influence of Mao is still strong in some Green Titoist circles.
If "lapsing" was seen to conform to the idea of "continuing revolution", then some would respond to Mao's appeal by forming Red Guard lapsing groups around the country.
Anyone opposing lapsing would then be seen as "revisionist" and would have to be removed through revolutionary violent class struggle.
The ideas would in essence remain the same but the language of Green Titoists would talk of Chetniks and Partisans.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Sounds similar to how the CWU use their Div and area reps!clashcityrocker wrote: If "lapsing" was seen to conform to the idea of "continuing revolution", then some would respond to Mao's appeal by forming Red Guard lapsing groups around the country.![]()

I wouldn't ask a Stalinist anything as his answer would probably involve the Gulag,a forced labour camp and several years "off-site".Danelectro wrote:What is a Green Titoist anyway? or would i have to ask a Stalinist to find out?
Better ask an Orthodox Marxist....or better still a Bolshevik-Leninist.

So how does that work then, Clash?
Fella arrives at the door, selling solar panels. Solar panels? Green, good! Selling? F**k off, you capitalist lackey!
(Oh sorry, I'm pissed)

playing and not a label or badge of endorsement for the powers that be,furthermore small business wouldnt necessarily
be frowned upon in a green titoist society, now having said that are you interested in 25% discount on our delux solar

Re: Scottish Election material
A Green Titoist would never be seen selling anything as dangerous to the environment as solar panels.
Apart from the fossil fuels used to manufacture said panels and the fossil fuels used to make the machines to manufacture them...they use battery cells and these are very nasty indeed,as well as that they use silicon and everybody knows that sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), which is 22,000 times more powerful than CO2, is used to clean the reactors used in silicon production.
There are also a number of nasty chemicals are used in solar manufacturing, including arsenic, cadmium telluride, chromium, and lead.
A true Green Titoist would educate the home-owner in cutting their energy needs...not pay lip service to quick conscience-easing fixes that will leave a toxic legacy for years to come.
Of course he would be a shite salesman and may get fired....

Re: Scottish Election material
The chances of both the salesman and the homeowner both being Green Titoists are incredibly small.
It is possible this could happen in Glasgow North where we are very active following the incredible election result:

The question then would be - who would be trying to sell solar panels in Glasgow North?

Aren’t the country’s most ethical company involved in the sale of solar panels and whose leaflets we are happy, nay proud, to deliver for no recompense week in, week out?
News like this could break many a poor postie.

Being unfamiliar with the great city, what kind of area do you now represent?
Is it “who you looking pal? I’ll chiv you” or is it not as refined as that?

My constituency extends from the leafy well-to-do West End, through the student quarter, up to Maryhill.Straight4ward wrote:

I used to work in Maryhill and it is a bit rough. I didn't personally do any campaigning out that way but here is a picture of my campaigning team out on the mean streets.

In the early days we didn't have Green Titoist flags so we just used some old Sandinista ones we had knocking around.
My refusal to rule out the possibility of assassinating my political rivals has led to a total media blackout on both the election result and my subsequent tenure.
The hardest thing to stomach though was the numpty moderator on RMC who moved the election result from the News forum to the Canteen. Did they think it was made up or something?
