BT ones, scanning the BT code instead of the RM one
If you scan the BT barcode it come up as invalid anyway.

I don't think they are that reliable, whoever said they had a 99% accuracy is living in cloud cuckoo land - there are numerous failures out on site and some have discovered the "remove the battery and press the little rubber button" and lo and behold it starts working again..........unfortutely it loses any data not sent

Me too, the good thing was that they'd been crazy enough to allow me a reply option. Mine was simply LOL!

it looks like any BT barcode starting with a letter P will scan.. ie, it will beep and turn green looking as if it has been scanned.
Dont know if it will help the original poster, but we had a gun last week that was switching between inward and outward without any input from its operator.. we missed our compliance and q.of s big time last week because of it. IT requested we send the gun back rather than "push the little rubber button"!

I don't know if the PDAs used in DOs are different from the ones used in MCs but with the MC ones if the bar code is invalid, the "error" beep is distinctly different.
