Would have been a nice day, but had to wait for the driver. He does it a couple of days a week, and 'forgot' my bag drop as he had to accelerate. Lovely bloke, but does get himself in a tizz quite often.

Commiserations to those with a lot of mail this week. Can't get any pace going at all in this heat

Yes ive got a driver like that this week,does his packets while doing bag drops so sometimes dont get first bag till 11 and we go out at 9..

As a newbie, I am still learning but.... I can't help thinking the worst!

My walk is starburst Monday & Tuesday & I start on Wednesday & Wednesday is always way heavier than any other day, I am starting to wonder if mail & packets are left for me on a Wednesday I know the killoffs are left for me, I know no one wants to do starburst but hey I don't dictate the rules, do u think this would be done?

Same as Thursday. Heavy and another late finish. They are still looking in to changeing things in our office. Re plotting walks that have not changed and even the ones that have. At this rate it will be another 12 months before we are straight.

Booking 1.5/2 hrs per day on a rural walk. Started at 8, finished at 3 today. Guys who do this walk in their own car never book any time. Just shows, I'm gaining probably 8 hours on them this week, without any cost to myself, doing the same walk. Now, with a day off tomorrow, I'm going to get a night's worth of Portal 2 in! Arrived from Amazon this morning - and is one of the few games that genuinely floats my boat. I've also got to catch up on Fringe, before starting on Game of Thrones - not sure if it will be any good, but here's hoping. Will probably go to bed sometime tomorrow morning.

Wednesday-Friday is always busy with packets and more post and DSA. That why Royal Mail want to employ 4 days postperson to deal with it and save more money from making other staff cover for those 4 days postperson.

Realistically, there'll be too much work, too little time, therefor, I can see myself cutting off tomorrow.

Great day

So hot for April its amazing

Spent the morning on the weekly shop and then off to Homebase for some wood stain. Spent a couple of hours in the lovely sunshine re-staining the summer house before we stopped for a BBQ. Had the bro in-law round with his kids so plenty of ice cold beer and burgers.

All gone home so just chilling out now before dinner

Was up way too early this morning though

I was awake at silly o'clock aswell went to bed early last night because I was pissed. Went for a 6 mile bike ride at 6am

Today I've just sat in the sun drinking, does Cider count as one of your 5 a day? Can't drink too much tonight, on a Park & Loop duty tomorrow, not done one before so doubt I will complete........then a fortnight off

Up early after a night out with the lads. Didn't get to bed until gone 02.00, after being up all day. Chilled out and watched some telly. Too hot to go out after working in it every day, needed the day in the shade.
