The poor new entrant was obviously not trained properly and had to untie his bundles and start putting the mail back in the frame.
Didn't any of your mob think to tell the poor sod?
Hello, earth to POSTMAN - every man for his self.

Twats, the lot of them.

And is that not one of the problems? You will not help a fellow worker. How daft is that ?
I think that was my point - I wasn't the one refusing to help a fellow worker, it was "hampshireman" and his mates who presumably loitered prior to one of the managers intervening.

Anyhow, my day today was unpleasant. Loads of addressed election material, to every house. On a Saturday. Yahoo.
Excuse me!!!! I'm not one of the watchers ; nor do I work at this DO. In fact if you read ... I am appalled by the workers behaviour.

I rest my case mlud

^^Election papers?

We've had the cards and 'no to AV' leaflet so far. Are these something different?

P.s. blinding day at ours. Sections that can be four bundles, were only one. Even so, some lazy scrotes didn't take their lapsing so there was a whole row left on each of the duties. Leaving it for the part-timers and drivers to mop up

Brilliant - 1 flat for every address on round and No2AV leaflet for at least 90% along with normal mail. Result - late prep, late delivery, late break (take it on delivery - better food). Advised manager and carried out his instructions - finished 2 minutes late - bad planning

Loads and loads of flats and small mailsort catalogues... just about got a break in before I went out. Hot as hell, should have taken a bottle of water of some money for a drink. Plodded (but not slow) around my walk as I wasn't in any particular hurry. Finished at 13:50 and was happy with that. Was gasping for a drink when I got back.

Terrible day. Really heavy. Electon leaflets. Late off the IPS and late out. Scorching hot day, shattered.

I ve had a couple of nice NORMAL days mail which seem light compared to the recent weeks. Still getting loads of mech letters but flats are down and packets seem better. Ive been getting round in a comfy 4 hrs of delivery and have been taking a 30 min break in between. I have felt better for not having to carry a heavy bag around and the aches and pains have almost gone. :Very Happy

Just one more day to go till the bank holiday weekend and ive managed to get sat off as well :nana
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Cheers. Looks like any additional election stuff will be coming in the next four-day week :d'oh!

Would have been a nice day, but had to wait for the driver. He does it a couple of days a week, and 'forgot' my bag drop as he had to accelerate. Lovely bloke, but does get himself in a tizz quite often.

Commiserations to those with a lot of mail this week. Can't get any pace going at all in this heat
