Thanks all for your welcomes I told my full time rep about this site and with any luck he will sign up and spread the word 
L Tommo thats a refreshing relief - our union reps have been gagged at work - gets told to move along if he is chatting to staff its bloody ridiculous! the bottom has fallen out of our office apparently its being downgraded - weekends are going etc etc - I wouldn't mind but its blatantly obvious to anyone if you cut the service work is going to fall - then hand the business mail to competitors at knock down prices a good recipe for job cuts. I get so angry when I see all the DSA work that comes in each day - tell the bloody competitors to deliver there own bloody work - or let us deliver it recovering some of that revenue back at a reasonable cost!!
Our crown office has a wait for an hour to get served yet I know full well there are at least six PO's in my area that have gone. What do they expect?
Of course were gonna be sitting in mail centers with no work - no one can find a local office and have to travel too far to get to one then its one big headache - Its a down right disgrace selling crown offices to whsmiths - I am livid that a public company is allowed to get away with this
!
Ive visited other forums and I am sick of the mentality of some people they think all we do is stick mail through doors - with out one thought to the logistics that goes into delivering their mail - I mean first the collections - dog pooh in the mail box needles kids sticking sweets in them, takeaways - Vandals burning mail in Red boxes - then it all has to be sorted and sent out to the delivery offices - not just local national and international. Do they think its magicked to there post person? who then gets up at an ungodly hour with rounds that are bound to have them retiring with dodgy feet hands shoulders from years of the bloody strain its put on them GGGGGGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
some people will only realize how good they have had it till its gone - I hope it doesn't happen and the CWU can turn around this destruction of the Mail system
