The way forward changed the way the holidays are allocated right?,there is the block thing which moves forward each year.
Technically if you go by that then the manager has done the right thing.

Although why he's done it is another thing,must of taken him ages to sort out.

We still use seniority at our place and it works well,but we're a smallish office.

Taking this one step further, isn't seniority-based resigns another act of discrimination? One should not have to be a postie for "donkeys years" to finally get a walk that is reasonable to complete within contract hours. The fact that the "easy" rounds go early on in the resign at each depot is a sign of just how poorly this national company has been managed for years, as even now, the new Pegasus sequel (Geo) is still producing unachievable goals for many walks around the country.

Ignoring the revisions that are going on now because they are not table top ones and are using various tools and stats by RM i would in part disagree with you.

Over the years most revisions have been table top with the rep and possibly others in the office,so,if you have duties a that are so far apart it is nothing to do with management.
I've been there,got the T-shirt ect.
Wank reps and wank senior men involved in revisions is a recipie for disaster.
