Cheeky sod - posting all that rubbish about us posties.
He obviously doesn't realise how hard it is to get my 2 Jags on the drive of the 5 bed, 2 bath en-suite hovel I have to slum it in. And the upkeep of the villa in Espana is bloody outrageous. I have to keep going over there four or five times a year and it is a drag all that sun, sand, sangria and the other thingy I don't have as well!

I know how you feel. We had to cancel my lad's flying lesson when we lost that last days pay because we (very unreasonably, I thought) went on strike. I've already had to tell our butler to cut back on the Bollinger he keeps on taking home from our wine cellar. At least my daughter's school fees are paid. The Swiss bank account saw to that. For a while there I thought I might have to cancel her six week skiing trip to the Bavarian Alps.dvbuk55 wrote:Cheeky sod - posting all that rubbish about us posties.

I feel very sorry for the common people - I see them daily as I'm driven to work by the chauffeur at 3.45 - do you feel the overwhelming urge to casually wave from the back seat whilst throwing out cakes as well? I do throw the empty Bollie bottles as well, more for sport than anything - on the odd occasion I have had a Police escort when the peasants are particularly revolting.IWW Fellow Worker wrote:I know how you feel. Yes, the plebs! They're beyond hope really. One of the things I really enjoy about being a very highy paid postman is shoving mail through the letterboxes of pensioners and shouting "Look, you worthless scum! You might have lived through a World War, some of you might have even fought in it, but that's no reason to continually bum off the state! Just because you worked for forty or fifty years and paid your contributions does not entitle you free health care, reduced fares on public transport and zimmer frames with wheels on the back for ease of getting out and about. It's high time this country brought back the workhouse!"dvbuk55 wrote:I feel very sorry for the common people - I see them daily as I'm driven to work by the chauffeur at 3.45 - do you feel the overwhelming urge to casually wave from the back seat whilst throwing out cakes as well? Honestly! If I had my way, I would put that nice Allan Leighton chappie in charge of the country. He would those spongers out.

Do you know I was on the verge of promoting an appreciation society for my chum Al - most of his cronies call him Mr Leighton. I had hoped he would run for the "Anti Wrinklies And No Kidders Except Roger" Party - known as A w****r. He would sort out these no good council dwelling scum, halve their pension I hear him shriek and add it to my bonus and quite right too - he is one of the lads you know, leather jacket open necked shirt, no bullshit except at the weekends when he likes to dress up - still enough of that lets all give him a round of applauseIWW Fellow Worker wrote:Yes, the plebs! Me and Al don't go in for formalities either. Like he is with you, me and Al are on first name terms. I think he's great! In fact, I was thinking of getting a few Cliff Richard DVD's just to learn how to speak like Al. I'm goint to shave my head, swear like a trooper and wear stupid clothes just like my hero, Al. I might even join the Church of England just like Al. He's great!dvbuk55 wrote:Do you know I was on the verge of promoting an appreciation society for my chum Al - most of his cronies call him Mr Leighton. To tell the truth I had the stupid clothes - the wife buys them for me - I already have no hair and because of a poor education and a limited vocabulary, swearing comes naturally. I can understand why Al sees me as a kindred spirit. Th only thing we don't have in common is money and I leave you to guess who has the most.

Al was telling us all how well off you are. He said you were 25% overpaid. If I was you, I would issue a denial just as soon as your yatch arrives in Montego Bay.dvbuk55 wrote:To tell the truth I had the stupid clothes - the wife buys them for me - I already have no hair and because of a poor education and a limited vocabulary, swearing comes naturally. The lying sod - 25% overpaid indeed - it's more like 40% and I am well worth it - nobody sticks up for him like I do (and before you ask - NO) - if he keeps up with this pensions malarkey he may well be doing a Maxwell from the swimming platform of my yacht - not in Jamaica though it's too windy at the moment - I would have thought Scarborough more in keeping with his no nonsense approach - having said that I like Scarborough especially the herbs from the fair there.IWW Fellow Worker wrote:Al was telling us all how well off you are. I think we have a rival in 'armani' though! He's the Prsident of the 'Shaft Me Al' club over in the Post Office section.dvbuk55 wrote:The lying sod - 25% overpaid indeed - it's more like 40% and I am well worth it - nobody sticks up for him like I do (and before you ask - NO) - if he keeps up with this pensions malarkey he may well be doing a Maxwell from the swimming platform of my yacht - not in Jamaica though it's too windy at the moment - I would have thought Scarborough more in keeping with his no nonsense approach - having said that I like Scarborough especially the herbs from the fair there.IWW Fellow Worker wrote:Al was telling us all how well off you are. Aye your right there IWW - I'm afraid his postings aren't of any great interest - I'm of the opinion that he lacks a depth of knowledge on anything other than his chosen subject. I could imagine he would do well on Mastermind until the real questions were asked and you may have noticed that he isn't asking the right questions! On a more serious note though do you think there is a relationship there? - or is it more of an inflatable friend wearing an Al mask.IWW Fellow Worker wrote:I think we have a rival in 'armani' though! Either an Al mask or a Maggie mask. My money would be on the Al one though.dvbuk55 wrote:Aye your right there IWW - I'm afraid his postings aren't of any great interest - I'm of the opinion that he lacks a depth of knowledge on anything other than his chosen subject.
