DWP will do whatever they can to stop you claiming jobseekers.
First of all they queried what I had in the bank. No problem as I used my IHR settlement to clear off my debts and had a prebooked holiday. Which took me under the allowed limit
Now I got a letter through from them yesterday saying that I left my job voluntarily
For those of you who can, I guess the best bet would be to claim Employment and Support Allowance, rather than JSA. I couldn't do that as ATOS said I would be fit for other work, just not in Royal Mail. However, after another couple of dislocations, even sitting too long makes my knees sieze up, so I'm seriously thinking that my working days are over now, so may need to go down the ESA route myself
That's my experience so far, will update as soon as i get a payment from the buggers and let u know how i get on :)
