Pouching off without returning to the office was part of the SDD agreement.
If the OP's finishing time is 1420 his last letter should be 1405.

Means f**k all to me and those at my place,it's a carrot for the non car users.

I think this goes with the reg on the vans malarkey,every revision 'we've' had there is time to return to the office.

I have a van so have to return to the office but everyone returns to the office whether they've a van or not, is this one of rubbish local agreements.

As usual everyone applies their own office position to an argument.
Try to think of,say....an office in the middle of an industrial estate.
Fine if you have a car...not so great if you don't.
Your D.O. might be in town A....you live and deliver in town B so...you jump in a van and get driven past your house in town B back to town A so that you can say goodbye to your DOM and walk half a mile out of the industrial estate to get a bus back to town B.

Nothing to do with peeps going past their house or whatever because they dont use their car and decide to be driven back to their DO for the sake of it.
That is not the issue here,the issue here is peeps needing to go back to their office.

Pouching off on the street is great and i've done it many a time and suited me fine,but if my car is back at the DO then it don't suit.

Ftr,ours would be about 12-15mins travelling back and about 5-10 ish pouching off at the DO.
