Receiving foreign specials

Post by darren d »

I have been told recently that when the foreign signature required items come in with the normal mail they have to be taken to the locker and scanned in as recieve collection and allocated to walk as a special. The only difference being they dont have to be there for 1300hours but you still have to confirm by 1420hours.Any other DO have this procedure :confused :confused

we were told that on Tues also that any "special" other than that from UK i.e. our own, does not have to be there before 1pm so no cut offs for them just deliver and scan like a tracked, first i've heard in 5yrs, think somebody would've mentioned this before now!!!! all that wasted time.

Only RM SD items are to be delivered before 1pm, any of the rest are just done when I get there. And as for taking them to the RLE to be scanned in..........if the MC can't seperate them then we do they think we should? Same thing for RP items.

ps. You're lucky you don't get the Irish specials that don't even scan into the PDAs or the ones that do scan in but don't require a signature
