We were told 3.5p a poll card
either count them and claim (very time consuming)
or claim for drops times 2.5 average of voters per house.
So for arguments sake 500 drops times 2.5 times 3.5p
about £43.75.
Lets wait and see :pray in
No information was initially offered
They maybe hoped to slip them them in unnoticed

We get 5p per polling card. The polling cards are for 3 different votes (local, council and AV). Perhaps those not getting paid are just for AV?

I expect the AV leaflet to be D2D but I may be pleasantly suprised ... I made £570 as a floater for the general elections!

Tbh this election payment thing is in the same vein as our old D2D agreement, how the hell did we manage to get it,another kudos for the CWU.
But,no doubt within time it will be gone.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

We didnt have polling cards this year the council just using other people , but been speaking to someone on my round doing them and could not believe what he is being paid. He is getting 23p per card , not house per card . Sounds like a lot more than out 5p per card

What you have to understand though is that our payment supplements our wages whilst doing a job we are already reasonably well paid to do....
If you deliver the polling cards inside your contracted hours which most people,if they are honest do,it is more or less....money for nothing. :nervous
