Flexi Hours

I've been asked again to hand in the sheet my dum gave me applying for flexi hours, The reason I was given this form wast because I can't finish at 14:15 due to having to pick the kids up!!
I have asked him if flexi hours mean that if I get a flyer when everyone else does do I have to make them hours up?????

No answer, All I got was fill in the form stating what hours I CAN work - SIGN IT- and we'll have a meeting and discuss it, no straight answer giving mo fo :mad lol

I just smell a con with this flexi s**t, He's too keen for me to sign, our union guy said hold off signing it but the dum sez if it's not signed and finalised I'll be expected to work the 06:15 - 14:15 with everyon else.

I've already been offered the opportunity to buy back hours, move offices, take redundancy or go part time, None of which sound too appealing to me lol

Anyone got any experience or comments to do with this flexi working, Seems fishy to me :hmmmm

What are my options though? The way it looks they're going to push through the later starts du to the ridiculus excuse of wagons travelling slower lol
I can't afford to get less than 40 hours pay but I can't afford to pay extra for childcare neither.

Under no circumstances agree to flexi time because it only benefits RM (in offices where you work extra time to gain additional benefit ie extra time off) :so there :so there :so there

God knows, we start at 5 now, and theres always plenty of mail to sort. Come september the 17th we're told we have to start at 06:15 (part timers at 07:15)

Reason given lies in the new speed restrictions.................HMMMmmmmmmmm

my dom asked if i wanted to go to a 6 day week so i could finish earlier enough to get home for looking after the baby, i refused and told him i didnt want to agree to anything until the ia was sorted. he was ok with it.
the driving restrictions dont come in until january anyway apparantly.

When the six o'clock proposals were briefly put up in my office saturday is a 05:30 start, presumably the lorry driver must have a lead sole on his right boot and diplomatic immunity from speeding then. Lies in the new speed restrictions, you said it! Good Luck with yours whitetrash. . .

Makes me laugh how the date for 06:15 starts keep getting put back, Them lorry drivers must be really pushing it in the eyes of the law lol, Bet they can't wait till it's sorted out and they don't have to brake harshly everytime they see white lines across the motorway!!!
