New Revisions:New Duty Structure
What new duty structures have you got?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

10HR DAYS ? WHAT DUTY STUCTURE IS FAVOURED IN YOUR DELIVERY
We have 10hr duties / 1 in 3 saturdays off in our office, and it is great .
Now due to a self starter revision ( walk seqeuncing ) we might have to take them out due to a later distribution from the MC.
What type of duty structure have you favoured in your office friends ?, and does it work !

Re: New Revisions:New Duty Structure
Topics merged,if you work hard enough surely you could keep the 4 day week.

Having done the 4 day week RM are now saying there is insufficent workload which is total crap, i think that the manager wants them out.

It was always going to be an issue with what the IWT thinks as workload and then trying to fill a 10 hr day without a ridiculous delivery span.BLACKHEART wrote:Having done the 4 day week RM are now saying there is insufficent workload which is total crap, i think that the manager wants them out.
I think it was mentioned when the agreement came out.
The problem with IWT and walk sequencing is...the bigger the duty gets...the bigger the savings expected from WSM so you can really box yourself into a corner trying to maintain a 10hr day.
