On a commercial this week so 5.30 start. At 6.55 the new acting lineo came up to me and told me that I'm being moved to cover 'The Room of Doom', he pulled the short straw and I could see all the other managers looking to see if I'd kick off at him :angel

I f***ing hate the Room of Doom! Day off tomorrow :dance
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

We are into our 2nd week and its chaos in the morning, stuff left all over the office. People not getting out the office until gone 11 and cut offs galore. Next week should be even more interesting for you

I'll go with the above two - absolute sh*te today - five mech trays/gallons of IPS/Matalan/Boots/Local "Furniture Superstore"/two packet bags (and lapse) - told (young trainee ??) lino I'd be going over - he said "You'll be fine !" (must be the first phrase they learn @ lino skool :chuckle ). Will put him right tomorrow when I get to docket form ...

Even had a re-del given to me - when I got to said "maison" ... no-one in - I then looked "properly" at said package and noticed that it said "re-del 24/3" at the top ... and "to <works address - not on my walk>" lower down  Cage cock-up (must have got in the way of the bacon butties this morning) ... took a few Sky mags out to show willing tho' ...

Believe next week they want us to keep tally of P739s/undelivered parcels etc etc - it'll be interesting to see how much time is wasted on this stuff (I have a few EBay addicts who are NEVER in) ...

... and 10p on a pint :dcfo
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...

Next week cannot come quick enough as i am on leave :dance . Day 4 and again had to cut off, it's a total joke as me and my mate just cannot get around the two deliveries. The only bright spot from today is that we got the £600 quid in our wage slips :nana still the money will soon be gone and we will still be stuck with this shite!!!!

Day 5 of our revision and it was my day off, so i worked last night doing sorting as the dom is chucking money at it left, right and centre. my floater who was covering my walk today was also working last night and during the night he threw off all the mail that was sorted overnight and yesterday afternoon. Then at 6am i checked my frame and he was chucking in the 2 trays of mech letters as well.
so by 6:30am which is our start time he was already about 50 mins infront of where i would be at that point. i then found out about an hour ago that him and his delivery partner only had a 20min break and just made it back on time at 2:30pm. what chance have i got working with people like this!!!! :arrrghhh

Don't worry about him...he'll be off sick within a month and IHR'd within a year.

If the workload doesn't get him eventually his body will realise there is no sign of life above the neck and shut down on it's own.

Today got off to a very bad start when i opened my eyes thinking "hang on a min should the alarm not have gone off by now" A quick look around the room showed it to be almost light which was very wrong  This was followed by a panic glance at the clock that shone back 5.20am, which is the time i normally leave the house S..H..I..T !!!!!!

Well i was up and out in 14 mins which i thought was quite good and even had time for a sort of shave :Applause Got in the office at 6am so not late but felt that way when i looked around and saw how advanced the early flyers all were

A fair bit of mail around but i dont know if its because i strted the day with a bump but i got around 20 mins quicker than normal :hmmmm Ended up breaking (just) 4hr's which is a new record. I took a much needed 35 min break and still left by 1.30pm which i was quite pleased with.

Also a cracking sunny day to walk around in, really nice. :Very Happy

Well today was alright ( abit lumpy, especially with this weeks d2ds ), and I just got a text from my rep saying that they've agreed to pay me the sick day I should've had after I crashed me car :nana :nana :nana but he also said that he'd had enough of repping after this week ( the DOM had sent him off to Gatwick VSW, slagged off the union in his absence, and when he asked for the right to reply, the DOM got right in his face to the degree that the rep had to fight the instinct to punch the DOM's clock )....so with great trepidation about my depression, I have said that if no one else steps up to the plate, then he should put my name down, so now to an AGM, and a vote :pray :pray :pray
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
