You would have lost your door 2 door leaflet payments if the union hadnt agreed this pay deal. Let me set you straight with FACTS so that you stop moaning about a £20 quid supplement that is supposedly worse than you were gona get.

FACT 1: Door2door payments were to be reduced to about 5 - 7 quid under royal mails plans! They planned and still are planning to wrap up 2 7 door 2 door in 1 bundle so that you only got paid for 1 leaflet! £20 dont sound so bad now does it? The Union prevented this from happening and yes for some posties(inc myself) we are £10 worse off. Better than being up to £30 quid worse off under Royal mail terms.
Fact 2: Indoor staff are better off with their pay.Think about other workforce for once guys!.

FACT 3: The union forced the royal mail to accept that door2door be recognized as part of delivery workload, This meant that the union prevented 1000s more job losses and made sure that walks were not gona be the monstrous sizes they could have been. It also meant that full time ratio across the country rose. This was VItal.

So like i said before OPEN your eyes and dont give me your moaning bullcrap when you are clueless about how life in Royal Mail actually is. You clearly dont know anything

These are not facts or FACTS as you like to call them.
They are "might have happened" or "could have happened" basically possible scenarios...that's all.
This "information" was filtered through the ranks of the union until it reached you but are you aware of the source of the information......i am and at the moment after today...it doesn't look very reliable does it?
Rather than be rude like you and say "You clearly dont know anything".

Well on paper that would have been fine but what Bob Gibson etc forgot to do was get a clear agreement on BSI/IWT and
also negotiated some dodgy prep times for D2D,so when it they pressed the IWT button in my office we ended up with 30
mins less overall prep time than before the introduction of D2D into workload.

Only way to save losing money is STOP paying union dues i dont trust the union NEVER have I removed myself from the union the day they told us to give up £25 for the longer working week when your day off fell on a Saturday then later the Saturday became a normal working day and time and a half was scrubbed total joke!!!!!!

No he doesn't please read the 2010 agreement before you post incorrect information.

We get a £20 (PR) because we work in deliveries.

They get £8(PR) a week Mail Centre Supplement

Mail Centres, Collection Hubs and MDECs
A new (non pensionable) supplement to basic pay to all OPGs/OSGs in Mail Centres, OPGs/OSGs in Collection Hubs (who are not eligible to receive the Delivery Pay supplement) and Royal Mail CWU grades in MDECs pro rata for part-time employees. The supplement will increase in value as agreed in basic pay rises. It will flow through in 2011 and 2012. It will be paid 52 weeks a year at the rate of £8.00 per week and applies to new entrants. It replaces the first £8.00 of any PBS/ICS residual bonus payment in the Unit. In Units where the PBS/ICS payment is greater than £8.00, the amount over £8.00 will still be paid to existing recipients. Where the existing PBS/ICS payment is less than £8.00, the shortfall is funded on an ongoing basis by using the pool of money created by the former ESOS productivity scheme. The employees eligible for this pay supplement will also receive a one-off non-pensionable lump sum payment of £75 (pro rata for part-time employees) along with the first payment of the new supplement.
The above approach uses up the pool of money created by the former ESOS productivity scheme. Hence the ESOS scheme will cease to exist and will not accrue any future money.

Obviously the person who thinks that the last pay deal was a good one works indoors.
NO delivery postman in their right mind would vote for a pay deal that takes money off you for doing more work.
The indoor staff should have had their own agreement.I bet if money was taken from the indoor staff and given to us on delivery there would have been uproar, the indoor staff would have been crying all over there docket sheets. So wake up and get real NOBODY should lose money in a pay deal.
What the indoor staff don't understand is that when it's the end of their shift they just go home.Its different when you have managers bullying delivery staff into going over for no extra pay.
If you think it's so easy on delivery sign out of your cushy indoor job and get into the real world and try delivery.I bet you wouldn't last long once you got cold and wet a few times.

I find it absolutely idiotic that the CWU gets slated for this abomination. If I recall correctly the CWU never wanted the shares and done it's best to integrate as much of them into our pay rise, probably pre-empting this happening. Once again posties, I can only describe as thick, attack the CWU for something Royal Mail has done. I'm guessing the posties that do this are the ones guilty of working their day off, to make up for the day they were on strike, starting early, using cars, working unsafely and cutting corners, in order to get the job done quicker, etc. The CWU doesn't give you your pay rise, make working conditions, pay your bonus, promise you phantom shares. They fight to preserve and improve what you have, the best they can. What do you honestly expect them to achieve when the members have this kind of attitude. It's pathetic.

You are clearly a union drum banger, who likes to spout the usual bullcrap about what a good deal this was, masterminded by the union negotiators........well wake up and smell the coffee..........RM said this, RM said that, RM was going to do this, we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat................well defeat is here dolph if you open YOUR eyes..............as for the so called £20 delivery supplement..............tell that to the part timer who is delivering six lots of D2D FOR A PRO RATA PAYMENT OF £10.............this was the biggest let down for part time union members ever....and that's a fact. In 12 months time when the business is privatised you won't recognise the business and the part the CWU will have...........well take a guess!

And your point is what? Because messy, I don't deliver anything and still receive the supplement pro rata - and so does a part timer who unlike you doesn't get £20.....................but hey, as long as you're alright.
