Is it because you have your cock in your hand that you can't post it up.ronnie6 wrote:Just seen the note from Brian Scott to Moya. Ouch !

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Why has she pulled a muscle writing out all the letters urging managers to support her if we strike.ronnie6 wrote:Just seen the note from Brian Scott to Moya. Ouch !

Ha, ha, ha, how witty. I've seen a copy of this letter as well and was struck by how similar the union rhetoric was to the last letter sent to Moya regarding support functions, and we all know how that ended. Implying ronnie6 is a w****r is a cheap shot, perhaps he doesn't actually have a copy of the letter (I don't either). Hopefully your attitude, like many on this board, will stand you in good stead when you're stood in line in the job centre. I stand next to similar people every 2 weeks and can feel the hate, belligerence and animosity oozing out of them, I can assure you it's not very comfortable.POSTMAN wrote:Is it because you have your cock in your hand that you can't post it up.ronnie6 wrote:Just seen the note from Brian Scott to Moya. Nope, not implying he's a w****r,what i am implying and i may be wrong as sometimes i read things wrong is that 'some' of you CMA members seem to have a hard on about the fact that CWU members 'may' get CR.sentpacking wrote:Ha, ha, ha, how witty. Ironic,CMA members standing on/in a line.

is that the substance of the note then ronnieronnie6 wrote:I Brian Scott and Moya both made clear implications there would not be any compulsory redundancies and look what happened. Now Mark Higson is saying the same. What do you think might happen?
yep i think they gave up on that a while ago.The CWU, like the CMA, is a busted flush, I can't see any way they will protect postmen.

Re: Looks like it's your turn now
I don't think you are because if you had read any of the threads on this forum you would have realised that the majority on this forum are not in need of a reality check...ronnie6 wrote: I'm just trying to offer a reality check. All of the bollocks and vitriol that seems to emanate from some on this board regarding the strengths/weaknesses of the respective unions just shows the naivety. We all thought the union would protect us and they didn't.
We are not idiots ronnie,we believe Mr Higson and his "overarching commitment" about as much as we believe in the Tooth Fairy and Charlie Sheen being "off the drugs".
We know what the final solution will be,but we are not frightened to face it or fight it...with or without our unions backing.
You,sir are just a gloater...miserable at your own predicament, cheered by others in the same boat.
A bit like one of our long time misery merchants...where is he by the way..i would have thought this would be right up his street.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Re: Looks like it's your turn now
I had decided not to bother wasting time and energy in responding. However, having seen the response in the other thread regarding the 1000+ managers going I felt I had to comment. You call me a gloater? I suggest you go and read what your sick colleagues are saying. I'm glad I'm out of it and no, I'm not feeling miserable about my predicament but I am feeling sorry for what was a once great company.
