Our office switched to a later start time (FT 6:00) but had an agreement to keep the shift allowance for 2-3 years. Only problem was when a few of us leave reserves lost our allowance, this was never pre-empted to any of us and we find ourselves around £50 a month worse off. The only reason given is that we may start at different times of the day (which we have never done!). Help!

Does your Rep know about this?It dont seem right to me mate,you are a reserve covering a/l so when you pick there duty up you start at 06.00 so you should get as agreed shift allowance.Get your Rep or Area rep on the case.
