If this is the case then it's very sad. Do local politicians and journalists only report the facts as a foregone conclusion? Where is their fight for the local community? Consultation periods? What is that all about? Waiting until someone else hammers home the final nail, then say, well, we would have kept it open, at all costs? Absolute P*SH! I wish they had as much courage of their convictions as the Posties have. Again, the needs of the people are being sacrificed to the god of profit
