March against delivery office closures
There will be a march against the closures of Whitstable and Herne Bay delivery offices: assemble 2.00pm, Saturday 19th March, outside the delivery office on Cromwell Road, Whitstable, to begin marching at 3.00. March to the library for a rally. Speakers include Christopher Stone, postal worker, the Reverend Simon Tillotson, local vicar, Anne Belworthy of the Pensioner's Forum and David Shepherd, local businessman. In the evening there will be a benefit to support the campaign featuring the Nagasaki 3 - three talented Whitstable postmen - at the Labour Club. Start at 8.00pm.
