It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

the 600 pounds is that when the machine are fully up and running as is the case then guildford has the machines running at a reduce rate until the end of the month?
In delivery ALL of the lump sums are triggered by REVISIONS.
It doesn't matter if you have park&loop or walksequenced mail or later starts or you are lapsing 10 duties.
You have to have a revision to trigger a payment.
Well, maybe I misunderstood this thing but I thought it was £400 when we accepted the agreement which we have done, then another £200 for a non-WSM revision then a further £400 for the second WSM revision. We implemented a revision back in October and was informed that hopefully we would get £200 before Xmas. Of course, this has not happened although we get regular empty promises in regards to this.
It's sort of reassuring, but not satisifying in the least, to see that everyone seems to be in the same boat. We are also nowhere near getting any extra Saturdays off, weight off shoulders, new equipment, etc.....pfffft!
We've been told we already had £200 last year but nobody can remember, we'll get £600 when revision goes live and wait for it £200 if royal mail says it works!!
It's £600 for a WSM revision folowed by a further payment of £200 no later than 6 weeks after the WSM, revison goes live. To get it sooner you have to ensure the WSM works ASAP after bein implemented so look closely at whats being proposed. Challenge the DSM/DOM/planner to reassure you the plans are workable and your D.O stands a good chance of getting the £200 sooner than 6 weeks.
