Never trust your DIM and get yourself a good second in command you can confide in ,for now fight small battles not large battles until you have gained confidence.

Remember knowledge is power so read as much as you can.

Often overlooked is the fact that you could be one of the best reps ever and attended all available courses, but without the full backing of your CWU colleagues it's an uphill struggle.

Storm depends what your release is for have you had your revision yet if not will be for this.

Come in prep beat someone else takes it out you sit down with DIM and discuss what ever you have been released for.

I have always been under the impression its not your DIMS choice to appoint you rep but the rep himself who sends a letter to your branch informing them of who is covering for he or she and for how long.

Unless your already the sub rep ?

I've been the Sub Rep since January. DOM wants me to get involved properly so I can cover the Rep when hes off.
I'm getting a lot of people coming up to me asking me about our revision and other stuff, but having no involvement in it at the mo I tend to be the go between them and the rep, as according to some them he has a habit of flying off the handle a bit(not that he's ever done that with me), so they don't like to approach him very often.

I get on with 99% of people in my office and I talk to them, perhaps thats why they speak to me first.

I never pictured Teebs as a geek that watches Farscape ( I don't, the wife does, I wait for Burn Notice & Life to follow it on FX )
