If you have no faith in your rep go to your area rep or branch and get some help from there, tell them why you have no faith in your local rep and ask for somone else to help you.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Hi
Been on a stage one due to a hernia operation developed an alergic reaction been off 30 days. They issued me at Sheffield Mail center a stage 1. In march 2010. Had 2 more sick days off just recently got RECORDED DELIVERY LETTER TODAY! NOW ABOUT TO REQUEST FOR A INTERVIEW FOR STAGE 2 PROCESS. I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING TO HAND IN MY NOTICE AND JACK IN MY JOB WITH ROYAL MAIL. As if i get a stage 2 can only have MAX 2 DAYS OFF in a YEAR. WHY DID THE CWU AGREE TO THIS!!!!!!!!

you never know you `might` not get issued with a stage 2. :whistle
