I was reading a few posts elsewhere on the site and someone was talking about using private cars on delivery.
It's funny as I remember a team brief in 1997 which stated that from now on Royal Mail would not accept the use of private vehicles on delivery. The same briefing also said that it was the end of "ghost" overtime.
How things change.
My favourite, though is the change to Consignia. Remember that, all the fanfare and propaganda by managers and how it would be better for all these different reasons. Millions spent on rebranding.
Then we changed the name to Royal Mail and maybe I was off that week, but I never heard a word said about the reasons for that.

That's easy: it was a total disaster! They just didn't want to admit that in a Team Brief.
