It pisses me off how many people criticize us, but still expect their postie to hand over their mail with a smile in the morning. Of course the NOTW are the ones who shop the perverts, but sell porn in their adverts.

The problem with the gutter press is they will only highlight/print the controversial stuff that raises people eyebrows.
Nothing like a good scandal to sell papers.
Would of been nice if they came out with some of us last month and film us delivering in the torrential rain and wind last month or in the mini heat wave we've just had!!
Everyone knows what these scum are like, perhaps we take too much notice, even when they are behind us as well.

As for the forum,it's something i look at/think about daily.
Yes there are a few near the mark or over the top jokes/comments that are posted on here but they are very few.
If whoever want to pick off one or two posts out of the thousands we have on here it can't be helped, but by and all i don't think there's a major problem on here.
We can't help the way we feel about everything that is going on and perhaps the w*****s lurking should take on board how the majority of the workforce seem to feel.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

When they give us something to praise, then I guess we will, but at this moment in time we have nothing to look forward to, only doom and gloom with :lfo & :cfo at the helm, their brain-washed managers, their mates in the media, the regulator, and a government that appointed them! I dont think anyone on here has really critisized the public in anyway, in fact the public understand what we are trying to do....so no, its not everyone against the poor postie, so maybe you need to wake up and smell the coffee :no no

Check his postings Harry. I seriously doubt he's one of us. My money is on him being one of them. He's already stated that this is not the forum for him.

Spartacus wrote:N.O.T.W., Murdoch, Leighton. Too right !, there always used to be something in The Mail on Sunday i.e. Oxford MC unofficial " We have to go easy on EP figures due to the Unions & IA", then it graduated to High Tory papers like the Telegraph & Times. Bit of a "coincidence" ? , IA suspended , a site down for "rebuilding" , maybe I read Private Eye too much but this stinks. Also CWUScum's loitered on here , mentioned on other forums , petty revenge?

Anyone see the link there?

Well, What a b*stard of a day torrential rain all the way around the walk today, and did I see the News of the World reporter out seeing the job as it really is?.....NO of course not. The lazy */*%£$s probably sat on his ass surfing the internet for the next piece rubbish he can mould into a unresearched bullshit loaded article for next Sundays edition.

If he is looking for some crap which is obviously untrue which he can make an attention seeking headline from, may I refer him to todays announcement that the rate of inflation for July dropped to 1.9%. Well not according to my weekly shopping basket it fecking didn't.

Update.

Today,page 39.
Seems some strike-breakers are facing disciplinary action.
They are from an office in Croydon and have been grassed up by their NON strike-breaker workmates apparently to the Union.
It's a YouTube vid of them having a sack race in a deserted depot.
