that was a quote from 2007 mate.

No, it was from the last valuation in 2010. I think they were £1.51 or something then?

To be eligible for ColleagueShares you have to be permanent (or have a continuous long-term temporary contract), have been employed in the UK on 17 May
2007 (the issue date), and not be on a career break or extended period of unpaid absence.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

No: 194/11 Ref: Date: 28 February 2011

TO: ALL BRANCHES WITH POSTAL MEMBERS

Dear Colleague

Colleagueshare

We have received a number of enquiries from Branches requesting an update on the current position with Colleagueshare.

Recently, the Union had written to Royal Mail on a number of issues associated with the Colleagueshare Scheme. We have been told that Royal Mail are currently awaiting the outcome of an independent valuation of the scheme.

Once this information is available we will be meeting with the company and will provide a full report to Branches in due course.

Yours sincerely

You already have them - the payout is due in April once they have revalued them.
Who already has them; every employee?
Sorry No you had to be in place in 2007 and from your first post on RMC you started too late:

heres a thought

goverment are trying to sell us off in the very near future, they want to make as much money as possible from the sale,

now that means they will want as high a percieved value of the company as possible to get as high a share price as possible

would you think they would try and get away with telling us in april company is only worth 100m so small payout and then in may say company worth 800m so high share price for purchase? would that even be legal!

The pension and regulatory changes should boost the value of RMG. They go hand in hand with the sell off to form the postal services bill.
