Starting this autumn, TNT Post Parcel Service will be offering its new Receiver's Service, allowing your customer to see exactly when the driver will be dropping off their parcel. And if your customer is not home to take delivery when the driver arrives, they have the option of arranging another delivery time and, if desired, place. This new service means no more staying home to take for delivery or waiting several days to pick up a parcel at the post office.

The service allowing the receiver to see the exact driver delivery days and times is already available for a number of postcode areas; the customer only needs to fill in the postcode and house number to see when the driver will be in the area over the next three days. We are naturally working hard to ensure that this service can eventually be made available for all postcode areas. We are also working to make the time slots shown as narrow as possible. Another option is for the receiver to make specific delivery arrangements once the driver has attempted delivery and left behind a delivery note. Using the information on this note, the receiver can specify online where and when delivery should be made. The parcel can be delivered to the receiver’s address, to a neighbour or to a TNT Post postal outlet. The website where specific delivery arrangements can be made will be available from late March.
