The mess in Dundee did surprise me,especially considering your rep has been on the planning course.

to be honest i think all the cwu reps are the same due to this new agreement, the area rep in our office is letting the doms get a way with murder , cancelling o/t payments , bullying posties who mention cutting off , hes a fxxking joke.

Reps usually write an election piece prior to the ballot taking place. If they are not doing the job you wish them to do, then I would remind them of their pre election mandate and what they stood for. If they are not working on the members behalf, then why wait until the next election is due. Get them out and elect someone that will stand up and be counted.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

When I got my sub rep paperwork through just before xmas it said 2 years on it.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Branches can set the time period to 2 years for IR reps. This would need to be voted for at a branch committee meeting/AGM

H and S reps are allready 2 yearly
